This version update on the wiki: 12.1.3 PLANET CALYPSO CONTENT RELEASE 2011.3 2011-10-18 ***PLEASE READ THIS DOCUMENT IF YOU FIND SOMETHING OUT OF THE ORDINARY IN PLANET CALYPSO! IT MIGHT PROVIDE THE INFO YOU NEED BEFORE CONTACTING THE SUPPORT DEPARTMENT!*** NEW FEATURES It is now possible for a single creature to have many different attacks to choose between when fighting a colonist. This includes area of effect attacks as well as attacks based on a percentage of the victims current HP. This will present an exiting new challenge for experienced colonists. For the time being this feature has only been enabled on the Rextelum. It is now possible for missions to consume actual items, this makes it possible to have mission characters that can trade with player avatars. Planet Calypso will start handing out "Missions Tokens" as rewards for the completion of most of the missions added from now on. The mission tokens are trade-able and can be used to purchase various items from mission NPCs. The items that can be bought with the tokens has no fixed token price. The number of tokens needed to buy an item can fluctuate with supply and demand. RESETTLEMENT UPDATE Three new areas have been discovered in the strait between Amethera and Eudoria, linking the two continents together. Two new creatures have been found in the new areas, the Rextelum and the Traeskeron. Many new missons have been implemented. Daikiba's have once again been sighted near Port Atlantis. The peninsula above Treasure Island has sunk into the sea. A lot of new items are waiting to be discovered. FIXED ISSUES Added gun turrets to Minopolis. KNOWN ISSUES It is possible to fall through the floor at certain places in the Ringhorne. Some visual issues may be experienced when teleporting to the Ringhorne. Traeskerons sometimes drown in seemingly shallow water. It is not possible to purchase the detectonator from the Marker Trader. This version update on the wiki: Planet Calypso Content Release 2011.3 Important Note on the Underground Area The underground area is not yet available, we strongly recommend not downloading it as there is no advantage doing so prior to its release - you will still need to download the final content when it is released at a later date. New Content Material Textures for Creatures have arrived! Celeste Harbour Town Square Overhaul, Phase 1 complete. Cave systems added near Courageous Firebase Academy and Resolute Firebase Academy. Issues Fixed Minor resource availability adjustments. Lidacon can now be found again. Scopes and Laser Sights have had erroneous references to (L) versions removed from their descriptions. Quil Sap colour scheme fixed. Fixed head positioning in death animations for: Tiarak, Beladoth, Zadul, Otorugi The Archaeological Society has improved their seating arrangements so that visitors can sit down and relax. Bridge ramp height on a bridge southwest of Resolute Firebase fixed. General Changes Celeste Quarry Teleporter is now accessible to everyone without the need to first visit it. Tiarak maturity adjusted in Sanctuary Crossing and Sanctuary Shores. Ambient light levels at Night increased. Underwater visibility improved. Madana, Halix, Carabok, and Jori are now more colourful. Known Issues There is no Arkadia Material Texture Blueprint in the Technician, the Carabok Texture Blueprint will be found there in the next update. Material Textures are missing their recommended levels. Descriptions on weapons still refer to specific ammunition types and not the new merged types. Weapon sounds can vary from shot to shot on some weapons. Limited Blueprint Book cannot be coloured or textured. Some types of eyewear can appear outside or on top of the Armour Helmet. Skin from some face/head shapes can be seen when wearing Armour Helmet. Televators in buildings may link to the building next door in rare cases. Feran are afraid of getting too close to the ground. This version update on the wiki: Planet Arkadia Update 2011.6 The patch is up, and the Elysian Artistic Patterns blueprint is now for sale from Technicians on Next Island. Hm... maybe I collect a few things here... People who have already completed a lot of mission might not be really happy about this. Shinkiba <-> Daikiba Daikiba are back on Calypso but the missions have not (yet?) been converted from Shinkiba to Daikiba... Seems like all spawns have been changed from Shin to Daiki. But Shinkiba still spawn in the Fight Club! Rumor: Motherships can enter atmosphere now Turned out to be wrong: That mothership attacking Mount Hephestos is just deco! New Calypso Areas That's how the Eudoria-Amethera bridge looks like: Naval Station Triton Major missions hub Rextelum Strong hitting ~150 critical (Pixie SGA + 5B). Take a seat? Looks like this has been re-implemented
