Man the loot situation in RT is worse than Calypso. Sure the scenery and music is cool, but not worth the loss in PEDs :(
Sorry to hear of your luck :/ maybe do more team activities? There are alot of cool people on Rocktropia which is one of the reasons I like it there so much. Loot always sucks no matter where you are, the main issue with Rocktropia right now isn't the loot but the lack of markup in the loot. I am eagerly waiting for the bps to drop so that mining and hunting can both become more productive. I did a 1kped hunt last night and profited about 30peds, have done 2x 450ped hunts so far today and have lost 150-200 on each of them. :/ Zombies drop zk1s which you can sell for markup if you travel back and forth to calypso much, they sell pretty well on the street at the City of Dreams as well, always new players wanting a zk1 to hunt with. narfi ps. let me know if you want any axes or zk6s, they are starting to stack up in my storage and I'm going to be out of ped soon if I don't sell some.
Well thanks Narfi! But since I went to RT I have found few players, never the less players to tackle dragons and such. Even with a type of n00b mining I have yet to find an advantage from Calypso to RT. It might be the fact that I'm not a regular depositor--or maybe just not at the right place at the right time. I do love the terrain and the music from RT--but loot wise I seem to do better at Calypso. I know ND is hard at work--but I'm not at that level were a 500 PED loss is nothing.
I am usually around skull village or skull moat killing lemmy dragons, look for me there or ask around city of dreams, quite a few of the locals know me (atleast the ones from my time zones) I would team up with you for a dragon hunt, lemmy dragons do stab/cut and let me know what weapon you use Ill try and match up as close as I can with you. narfi
Ok after some rethought. I think the reason I am having issues is becasue I'm used to Calypso areas. I know where to hunt and mine a bit. I have no clue about ROCKTropia and I went gunz a' blazing a bit. I'm going back to RT to see if I can do better.
We are wrestling Crocodiles to improve the economy on RT and will eventually Succeed in the Meantime Keep one hand on Your wallet!! And Enjoy the Scenery, Dont give up on us... We are simply paying the price for launching before all the basic system tools were available to us... And while that may seem like a stupid thing to do, I do believe that we are trouble shooting that platform in a way that will be helpfull to all in the future... ( Hoepfully we are still around to see the day :)
