Removed no-vehicle zones at Athena Spaceport and Halfmoon Bay. Does that mean we can have another race?!? (The race was fun) +1 on the statues. This feels like the year of "realising that pissing people off might not be a good idea". Will see if I can get in and go see em.
Pfff, avatar statues...simple tactic. Not the 1st time. Keep things on hold...and only release them, when people are really fed-up with (too many) other things. Statues will distract them, just like "no vehicle zones". Gratz ! Fanboys are already 250% sure, that MA has changed. x'D
Well be that as it may I had fun hooning around Athena again in the buggy and inevitably falling to my doom when going over a hump and then realising there was a sharp right coming up! (that was of course until I landed in a waterfall and got stuck on the wall... it's all fun and games until someone gets stuck on the landscape and has to wait 60 seconds to revive somewhere they didn't really want to be)
That all said... I visited the statues. They were pretty nice but I couldn't help but be bored to see the "right hand of god" guy appeared twice. I can't really see why they don't just come up with something where everyone (who wants one) can have one located randomly on the landscape for a small price. Could be quite a money spinner. Sure it would degrade a bit the value of those who had them already (but they weren't sel'able anyhow) and besides, they get prime locations. If MA charged say $200 for locations next to Teleporters and $50 for a random location, that might be kinda fun. I rather like the idea of a huge hunt too, where we all have to help each other find their statues. Could even hire someone casually to sort them out.
Haha! MA is reading EP! They stumbled about my thread with all these staues and took action immediately. So all owners of an ingame statue! Please honour Jamira. Or give her at least a few PED ...
