  1. I must admit, I have more than once questioned my own wisdom about that agreement. :)

However, you have to agree if you want to play :(

  3. Wow i just read the whole licence agreement (at work what do you expect) I gotta say wow. They are not even responsible if they screw it up on purpose.

  4. Yes, if you haven't read it before - do it now. You'll be surprised what little rights the virtual life gives to you. It's not like a bank, more like a club which you can be ejected from at any time for any reason.

I think of them more like a bookmakers or casino... there is no legal obligation for them to honour your 'bets', but they rely on goodwill... i.e. our trust that they will honour our account, investments etc.

I find myself wondering whether I trust them any more

  6. It's a bit odd, I know! I'm not a solicitor or anything but in the UK the EULA would not stand up to much, the consumer (us) have statutory rights that cannot be taken away by such an agreement. Obviously I have no idea about Swedish law though :)

  7. Those rights may only apply when doing business in the UK though. But that's just a guess.

  8. You guess right, if MA were based in the UK they would apply. I wonder what kind of statutory rights there are in Sweden.

  9. Yea - don't give up.

This is why you shouldn't give up, these are good stats.
