So what does everyone think of the new NextIslandLife.com forum style/theme/template (what ever you wish to call it). What do you all think of the Black BG? Is this easier to read than the older style? Are the forum topics easier to navigate? Please post any and all comments related to this new look.
Well I like it much better, looks like our Society's forum :) I wish the font was a bit bigger on the forum main page, a little hard to see. I know on a couple of the forums I go to there is an option to change the theme, but I don't see one here. Do this one have the option? If so maybe you could add a couple of different ones in hopes of pleasing everyone :) Is it possible to stretch it to fill the whole screen? And I would replace the robot icons in the forum menu with a relevant pic such as this one :) View attachment 140 Is the login issued fixed? Not on my home computer to see if this is working now.
Will look at the font sizing. As of right now this is the only style choice we have. Maybe in time we will add some more for users to pick their own. Working on making the look wider to fill more of the screen. Good idea with using the NI image there as the topic images and stuff. Not sure yet about the log-in issue. So far I have not seen the issue on my computer. But please let me know if it is still acting up.
Noticed that some text isn't showing, probably cause it was black before. But I had to highlight it in order to read it. See pic. btw that was on my profile page........in case you were wondering :)
yay its keeping me logged in at home as well!!! I imagine your still working on the text color on the profile page as I don't see any changes yet.
Ok so I am messing with the Banner system. Can y'all let me know if you see the "Banner Test" banner at the top and where it links you too?

OK next feedback request. You should be able to see two forum style options now in the lower left of any page. Both are the same theme. Just a set width and a fluid width version. Which do you prefer we keep and use? vB4 Game or vB4 Game Fluid?
I like the fluid one better on the front page, news is laid out and easier to read. But if you decide to keep the other one can the news the front page be laid out better? And maybe a brighter background picture. :)

We just updated the template with the 4.0.8 version that was just released. Should have fixed a few issues with font colors and stuff.
ahh ok you scared me :happylaugh: but you are going to be at me. I like the theme version that isn't stretched out better. Like seeing more of the picture. LOL can you add these emotes too............you may be needing them. The sorry one is for me :)
