  2. And where is the same document for compet ?
Aren't you proud to talk about all players who have CLEARLY been scammed ?

I know friends who bought for 5000$. and lost 4000, ty mindark (in the swedish tradition ...).
Put the compet deed in the game auction is something I can not understand why since there is no relation with Entropia Universe...
unless may be for some volontarily purpose...

  3. Compet deeds were in the ingame auction, because it was a MindArk scam, that was just too easy to implement.
I bet there wasnt even a "calculating" system behind it. Just worthless items, many of us purchased.
Who says MindArk was honest with us ?

MindArk was aiming at already addicted mobile gamers, that choose to ruin their reallife, just to purchase their next batch of "diamonds".
And ofc Compet was aimed at the standard rich f00ks of Entropia...but those realized soon, that Compet it is nothing but another MindArk scam.

Trust me, if MindArk had the knowledge to sell Cryptoc/ICO via the ingame auction, they would have done it right after Neverdie "introduced" them to Crypto-Scams...and it would have worked !

The deeptoken disaster was a farce. Beyond realistic. A gigantic scam with lies on top of it.
A standard MindArk procedure. And it failed...like always. Still, they continue...

Now SONY announced to use cryptocrap in one of their titles (Plague Hunter), to do ingame purchases.
But maybe MindArk will win the race, when they introduce Deeptoken & IPX into Entropia Universe. (trololol) x'D
Then we would automatically have our next PR gag..."We did it before SONY!" roflcopter, nevermind(ark)

MAs capacity is low, very low. Their new slogan could be :
"Never change a running scam" *lal*

I have slight doubts, that there will be a gigantic xmas sale this year.
I have slight doubts, that Deeptoken Round 2 will ever arise from the ashes.
I have slight doubts, that IPX will ever arrive.
I have slight doubts, about MindBank.
I have slight doubts, that new planets will arrive.
I have slight doubts, that the CLD(x) (landplots, factories, gardening blah.) system will recieve any further development.
I have slight doubts, about everything regarding Entropia right now. ^^

But be sure Im ready, should they push out their next PR gag ! :'D

Of the things you have doubts about I have none. Those things won't happen.

Still surprises me that autumn is the quietest time... I'd have thought summer...

Here's a quick overview I made based on all the published audited numbers.

    Here's year over year:

    Here's monthly:

Come invest in EU. The future is bright and the sky is the limit, as the trend line clearly shows. </s>

What's funny is the payout per CLD is mentioned, as is the amount of revenue earmarked for deed holders. Combining those two yields that the number of CLDs is apparently dynamic! The highest is 60.070, while the lowest amount is 59.977.

I believe EP wiki has a lot of data based on weekly revenue. I might do some random sampling and see whether or not those actually match the audited numbers, just for shits and giggles (and because I don't trust MA any more than I can throw them). Once I'm done with that, I'll see if I can enrich the data with events at the peaks and lows in the graph that could explain the swings in revenue. I'm guessing peaks will correspond with events happening. I'll probably start with July 2013-September 2013 (From a high peak to an at the time all-time low, but that could be due to summer vacation).

July 2013 saw the annual migration, which could be a reasonable explanation for the peak.

In November 2013, there was Halloween Mayhem, followed by Merry Mayhem in December/January. That could possibly explain the peak in November 13, and the additional highs in December and January, because as soon as those mayhems are over, the revenue drops straight down to continue the line started in September.

The official events page for Calypso then mentions Robot Mayhem in March 2014 (for 3 days), followed by Halloween Mayhem 2014 (coinciding with a tiny swing in Revenue in November 14), and Merry Mayhem 2014. As you can tell by following the links, it wasn't just the titles, but also the pictures for the events that were recycled in order to optimize performance.

I'm keen on seeing if we can figure out why there's a steep drop at Jan 2014 (PEDs spent after mayhem, therefore reduced activity?), lasting until June that same year, when it suddenly swings up for two months (during summer time, no less!), and then crashes down again. That looks highly suspicious from a data perspective.

The peak in July 2015 is possibly due to Eomon migration that year, but the events page doesn't specify any dates for that year, meaning the link got overwritten with the 2018 results. I can't immediately verify that was in July. Judging by the graph, players didn't quite give a fuck about either Halloween Mayhem nor Merry Mayhem in 2015.

Looking further from 2015 onwards, we do see the annual peak in July. Despite the events not listing the dates, I do believe those are the Eomon migrations. Easter Mayhem was introduced in 2017, but doesn't seem to have done much to influence revenue. December 2017 shows a nice peak, though. Does anyone know what was different in Merry Mayhem that could explain that sharp increase?

I'll try to see if I can find any other data to correlate with the months, just to have some additional insight into why we see the swings we do.

And once that has been done, I'll go check the statements made by CEOs and in financial records where they boast about record revenue etc, and compare that with what the audited graph shows, and see if we can catch MA management in a lie or two (or 5 or 10, or a billion jobs).

    I'm afraid I'm guilty :-(

At February 2014 I was at ~96%. But 4% loss at this level (Archmaster swordsman) with the gear I owned (UL Niflheim, UL Lion Armor, can't remember the name of the UL Medikit) meant probably way more than a loss of 40% at lower levels. I never ever got a particular item during 8,5 years, except the first part of my Lion Armor (one of two ingame). Biggest HOF was ~4500 PED. Just to compare: I bought my Niflheim for 35000 PED
It was clearly the right step to leave the casino! Cash out in June 2014 was kinda 20% of what I paid: I got 7500 Dollar.

Btw. I would come back if I could see a descent change of MAs policy and behavior. But well, look at MA now. Do you really hope to meet me ingame soon?

Weirdly... last I checked (note some years ago now - probably 5) I was still up on money deposited vs market value (not counting presents - would be cheating)
