On the latest buzz section it says there's a competition on for winning motherships and medium fighters (started 8th June and ends 20th June) but it doesnt say how you can enter it. So I loged into Calypso and clicked on various mission npc's, but couldnt get any info that way either... Anyone know how you enter it?
I don't think you need to enter, just participate. I will be fisting shinkiba young tonight. I figure I have no hope of a mother ship but may have a slight chance of the biggest loot from a shinkiba young on Calypso. if nothing else it will help get me part way through a dull iron challenge!
Yer, maybe your right, i just wish MA would explain things more clearly - lol. I was thinking of shinkibas as well as I find them very economical... - Motherships will be generally available in the auction, so should come down in price just like other vehicles did ;)
Shinkiba are cheap but tend not to be profitable, best loot from one last night was about 6.5 PED! From what I read it looks like there will be a limited release of Motherships. I expect that after that release is over that sales will be very rare and very expensive.
Yes, I think you're right on that score - I read it again and saw the limited release info. I've not had great loots from shinkibas either, but their eco' to kill - and shinkiba young is what MA lists for Calypso.

Yes, for Calypso it's now also snabblesnot M mature as well as shinkiba young for the fighters, but I've never had much loot from them either :P I think this comp' is a bit of a red herring so I'm going after the other mobs
I agree, they're very eco' to hunt, but one thing I've noticed since the start of the competition, is that everyone is now going after shinkiba young and snabblesnot M matures on Calypso, wiht the end result being, that there are never that many left by the time I get to places where they usually spawn, like Ithaca and the Swamp Camp. So in the last 24 hours or more, I've been going after harder mobs and have got much better returns.
