Already being done but its tied into other things as I explained on my thread. Waiting to see if spacejaniter gets told to eat dirt (which I think he will). Conpets = dead. no deed payouts (not even 1 pec) for 2 months in a row. the forum is full of spam. But people SEIOUSLY STILL believe in MA (And neveride is an employee, de facto of MA)/ Dragonscam? lol. ANy1 who spends even 1 peso on anything remotely to do with Mindark has some issues. Sad thing is, those who invested in conpets. would also invest in conpets 2 . Sigh. They OBVIOUSLY have a lot of money spare. Just donate to childrens charities instead of paying for Swedish guys holidays and cars

Interesting that there have been no more monthly payouts. I didn't think it would go THAT badly. I thought I heard there was a 2nd payout and it was very very low (as expected). Didn't think it would totally fall of the map yet though.

I guess my feeling that 1ped or more likely 50pec per deed was too risky even at that much. I can't believe people haven't dropped them like a stone yet.

  5. Dont forget, that MindArk re-announced the re-release of Compet, with tons of announcements and ads this time and gazzillion income.
Compet users will be rich soon ! Even richer then those CLD(x) owners, that MindArk raped hard with the missing plot-system.
(oh yea I know, you can grow some fruits and craft weapons with them, trololol)

  6. Wow, man, for one who stated he was going to go away you been very active trolling today. :)

Pond is needed in your life.

Anyway, yes the plots are going very slow. The humor here is most all the team had to move on over to compets to get it done and well EU has been kind of waiting with the limited man power they have. But yes, I know I know, I'm very wrong here and you will show us all links to prove me wrong for the next 10 years :)
(try and get this in your small little mind: What if MA was scammed by the developers of compets when the company told MA they could do anything and it would be very very simple to link the two games.)

At the end at least you ARE having some fun with EU. That really all that matters that you are having a great time. :)

  7. Problem is, you havent SEEn me trolling yet, so you better lean back and enjoy the screens from the B2B thread or finally understand that MindArk are the guys who lure in the people with money, into this fucked up pyramid scheme.

In your world, MindArk gave 2 million of crowdfunded dollars to N-iX and said "Hey, make the best out of it".
And N-iX said "Yeahhh, we make the best game ever !"

Then MindArk looked at Compet and recieved 200.000$ from the swedish authorities...to let N-iX create the Virtual-B2B crap app.
Here, take our money, we can already SEE how full of greatness your Compet was...take our money, and make the best out of it.

Mindark is fucked up but not as dumb as their so called partners. Else they wouldnt have been around since 1999.

Keep going with the "The others are the bad guys" story. I have no problem with that one either and enjoy your show as you enjoy mine. ;p

Thankfully I never believed in the plot system anyhow... and certainly didn't believe in crumpet.

Don't feed the troll. Report it. Better still, ignore it and hope it goes back to its pond.

I just read the Eurogamer interview with ND linked on the other forum and it all begins to make sense. Dragonking and his other current developments are a proof-of-concept for demonstrating avatar properties stored on a blockchain from where they can be imported into all these games. The games themselves aren't that sophisticated yet and expecting that from them is short-sighted. It's an idea...

  12. looks like the price for one dragon or knight is now .01 eth. Think it was 1 full eth when I looked the other day? Did something change or did I misread it last time?... that's a big difference in price, lol

Coinbase says price of etherum is currently 477.60 usd per eth.

nevermind... there's different levels of knights now... last time there was only one type I think. They vary in price. Crusader is 1 eth.

  13. yep. Dragonking wasn't even in the whitepaper... so it's a pre-pre idea, or proof of concept type of thing... sort of beta testing to get it to work for shroud of avalor I think.

  15. Well if Dragonking is a ‘proof of concept’ project and if ND is in fact a misunderstood genius, way ahead of his time, I hope that, in the interest of scientific progress, he’s not charging people to play his revolutionary, groundbreaking new game?

Or, perhaps it's the obvious answer. What if an unnamed Swedish company from Gothenborg that has a history of throwing around meaningless numbers and empty promises screwed over the people who invested in Compet. But yeah, that'd mean you have to recognize they walk like a duck, quack like a duck, swim like a duck, and fuck like a duck.

  17. Please. Remember we are dealing with an MMO and yes MA being stupid with their ideas which most of the time fail. You can look at politics and MA in the same light really. But at the end they do have ideas which simply never work out due to their limitations yet you look at it as scamming. Fact being, when MA thought of the idea of Compets I yelled out saying that it was a bad idea since they had no idea what it was they would be doing. I have a feeling they were scammed here as they were with SEE. SEE? yes, long while ago I searched out their address to find it to be a one bedroom boarded up house in the middle of a run down neighborhood. As well you may remember that after the break up SEE just disappeared.

Anyway, yes many things can be said but at the end MA is just a mismanaged company.

What is funny at the end is MA wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for it's gambling side of the game. That is really the only thing that is keeping the company alive. They are able to try out all these stupid ideas simply because they have the money to do so.

And this is where you're wrong. Should we look at the facts for a moment? This is all from memory, so forgive me if the historic timeline does not fit 100%.

    * MA and SEE announce a partnership.
    * Stuff goes on, with Planet Michael and other projects being announced by SEE.
    * MA and SEE announce the sale of Calypso to SEE for 6 million USD.
    * SEE transfers 1 million USD to MindArk. In return, MA hands over control of Calypso to SEE, and officially splits MindArk into two different legal entities; MindArk, and Planet Calypso Company (or something like that).
    * No news is heard for quite some time about anything.
    * MA announces they took back control of Calypso.
    * MA comes up with a sale of 60.000 Calypso Land Deeds, to raise a total of 6 million USD. The same amount as they hoped to raise by selling Calypso off to SEE. Sales do not go as well as hoped.
    * Behold the mysterious anonymous investor, who at the last minute buys 2.5m USD worth of CLDs and saves the day! And there was much rejoicing.
    * MA's next financial report shows a 1m+ settlement with SEE (paid *by* MA *to* SEE).

*IF* EU is as profitable, popular, and well visited as their press releases show, why on earth would a company who signed a partnership and transferred 1 million USD to take over Calypso (EUs only profitable planet at the time) suddenly change its mind so drastically once they get their hands on the wheel?

And if your assumption is correct, and MA really was scammed by SEE, wouldn't they have been allowed to keep the 1m USD, without having to go for a settlement?

Or, could it simply be that SEE noticed a big discrepancy between the numbers MA has been feeding them once they took control of Calypso ("3 million registered accounts" vs a few thousand active participants), changed its mind, pulled out and took MA to court, where a settlement was reached behind closed doors so MA wouldn't be forced to reveal their numbers?

At least we can agree on that.

Except they don't probably have the money. They employ what? 50 people? In one of Swedens biggest cities. Let's assume the average yearly salary per employee is 50.000 USD (which seems reasonable enough for Swedish standards), that would mean they'd have to bring in 2.5m USD yearly to cover salaries alone. Then there's the building, which I believe is located at some prime location in Gothenborg. There's the cost of the fabled hardware park hosting the game, and more importantly the extensive logs.

MA desperately needs cash injections on a very regular basis in order to stay afloat. Their last few VR property projects all turned out to be duds, so that didn't raise the required monies. Then they tried Compet, and we all know that went the way of the Dodo. Hmm, what more to try, seeing apparently the EU participants aren't biting anymore? Ooh, a 100 million USD ICO would do the trick, for sure. That'd allow for a few years of keeping the lights on, and perhaps even an expansion of the office so Jan and David Simmond's egos finally would be able to fit through the door.

Except less than 100.000 USD was raised. But wait! LAST MINUTE MYSTERIOUS ANONYMOUS INVESTORS SAVE THE DAY!

I don't know where you get your info, but SEE seems to be alive:

    http://www.seeglobalentertainment.com/

http://chapelsistine.com/ is a currently active project, and that site shows an address at 7582 S. Las Vegas Blvd, in LV. That doesn't look like a gigantic office, but definitely also not a boarded up shack. Another address I found with a quick search led to a huge apartment building in LA.

https://failuremuseum.com/ also seems to be something active. Showing a different address, though.
