VU Day for Next Island and finally Next Island Loot coming our way !

    Welcome all Elysian Colonists

    Yes - once again another VU Day and we have been promised today is the day we finally get Next Island Gear - that can be used ! :) and not stupid promotional gear that is just for show.

    New Blueprint Loots
    New Weapon Loots (confirmed not coming - so Logic is damned yet again)
    New Armor Loots
    And crossing our fingers "New Missions"

    Finally we may see another good weapon or 2 or 3 loot we can use in Ancient Greece other than those Ice Daggers looted off Island and Great White Shark or Ice Clubs looted from Shark.

    Is this the day they reveal swords for Next Island (hmm Vulcan Sword) and the day we Finally See Greek Armor that can be used also on Next Island.

    Is this the end of loot that you loot in Greece that cant be used in Ancient Greece.

    Agis is back and ready hit Next Island again , i hope lots of you follow - I hope we all aren't again disappointed

    I'm so glad you are excited for tomorrow's release!
    Just to be clear, though, there are no new weapons expected for this release. (Not sure where you heard that there would be. There were some things planned for November that got cut at the last minute, but a new weapon wasn't one of them.)

    There WILL be new BPs, new armor (usable in AG too!!!), new clothes and several new missions coming out tomorrow!

    The wording on my post was "we may see" and "Is this the day" (i never said it was announced) cause there is always secret stuff released in content and i thought logically new armor for Greece so new weapons maybe coming - or daggers and clubs will be looted in Greece but of course the dev team forgot that we are in dire need of Next Island Weapons in Greece , We are getting nice armor but no new weapon (unless that mission on AG after you complete all 3 mobs may give you a weapon) but again we will never figure this out until someone kills 999 mobs, Next Island weapons are VERY VERY short in supply (unless we are meant to hunt with TT weapons all our life), its almost been an entire year and no NEW weapons since Next Island was released (except TT swords in greece which take a minimum 12! minutes to kill one mob out of the 999 mobs required to complete the mission), This is a problem next island have , only 3 mobs in the ENTIRE planet that loot items that can be used in greece (sorry noob clubs cant be used in Greece),

    There were some things planned for November that got cut at the last minute (most likely most of the Content for this release was cut , like the last release) Are we getting content in December or have to wait until 2012

    Ok for the people new and for the fustrated population

    Q: HAVE YOU CONSIDERED ICE DAGGERS AND ICE CLUBS TO BE LOOTED ON MOBS INSIDE ANCIENT GREECE EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVENT EVEN THOUGHT OF INTRODUCING NEW WEAPONS THAT CAN BE USED IN GREECE ?
    This is one of the BIGGEST major flaws in Ancient Greece is that NO weapons loots on ANY mob in Greece - I thought it was logical this problem would be corrected, and also with new armor , whats the point of armor without any decent swords to use.

    Btw folks if you DONT want to hunt in this new armor with a TT weapon that takes a life time to kill one mob in greece.

    ICE DAGGERS are looted by Island Shark & Great White Shark, ICE CLUBS are only looted by Shark (tell me if im wrong - ill withdraw this comment), those are the only 3 mobs you can loot weapons for Ancient Greece out of the entire planet !

    I assume we will have to wait AGAIN until 2012 before we get DECENT weapon loots, (look Arkadia how many unique weapons - tons, Rocktropia - tons, Cyrene - tons on release).

    As the biggest investor in Next Islands hunting since it opened, i deserve a reply to whats going on - i made a assumption under a logical sense having weapon loots in Ancient Greece, since we are getting Armor Loots.


    End of my complaint.

    i see alot of old faces here... :)

    have you guys been sitting on next island this entire time? ^^

    i used to love next island... i used to live here and call it my home and think it was by FAR the coolest planet of them all.

    i still love the scenery. but with no economy its pointless playing on next island, unless you live to waste peds. lets hope this update brings new life to next island. if it does i might even move back home ^^

    Oh yes, this is the GREATEST planet of them all. I have been having a great time here since the 12th of November (came here because of the wedding) but other then that can't see why I need to stay. As well, with space being lootable PvP when I pack up, I'll probably not be back here until MA works out this problem with the Planet Partners.

    All in all, it has been a GREAT stay. You guys have done a GREAT JOB!!! Work hard and you may be the number #1 planet of them all!

    O BTW, can I have a Papoo to take back with me as a pet? please? :)

    @Agis -- Changing loot drops on Ancient Greece is important to the gameplay on Next Island, both to add Greece-specific loot and also because it's goofy to loot ammo that won't be developed for centuries! But it's not in this release, and it's probably not in next month's either. Sorry to disappoint you.

    I think that this is one of the most important and inspiring statements I've seen for next island. I think it's important that places, like ancient greece, be consistent with their themes.

    OMG I hope mindark put the headwrap scarf in the right worlds loot pool I have crafted almost 5k peds of clothes in greece trying to loot bp O.o

    She is in the Forum in Thebes, next to the technician who sells the AG BP book. Click on her and you open a standard crafting interface.

    theres a npc in the top castle area in a new house gives mission to get the tunic bp

    the headscarf must be looted but its sure not dropping for me O.o

    7k peds clicked so far though on clothes. not losses just pure tt of materials

    I always found it odd to use crafting stations that were NPCs. it looks rather bizarre, standing there facing someone, while working away.
