Why do you thank him when you refer to one of my posts? And why do you call him "Marc"? His name is "Mark".
I have a vague suspicion: you are one of this flippant man of action. Not the best letter of introduction to ask for help.

Oh btw ... regarding McCormick ...
I can provide you with a very well done non-textured (and optimized!) 3d-model of Mark McCormick McCormick in every pose within a few days if you really want it and McCormick agrees. Something like this (my avatar from ESO):
Costs would be something around US$ 300. Probably you can share expenses with McCormick because I would print him a RL-statue of the model for his desktop in BronzeFill-material for material costs only ;-)

Hey Jamira, sorry I didn't quoted you. And sorry for the "Marc" typo. In my country Mark is often Marc. I said I'll find an another way meaning I'll craft it myself. And for the help, I don't think many ppl over here can really help me because it is huge work and, as I said, many give up on that long ago. I'm more here to share than to ask help. What I do is not meant to make money, it is made for fun. So control your Bushido, Samurai Girl ! ;)

And I found an unexpected help from a NY studio yesterday night so i will see what is possible or not :)

Yes, back in the days I seen something about that. I can't remember the name. I have it on the top of my tong but can't remember. I seen that they got help from a Canadian company, I remember myself back in 2005 having seen the web page and all but I'm pissed I can't remember. Something with LAB in it ?? I dunno. They didn't outsourced it was a collaboration.

At one time I think their logo was present on the client loader too. That's why.

Thanx, did not hear of that company before, so looked up what they did with EU.

To quote Etopia over at PCF:

So, those guys were there to translate EU in French.

I heard more than that, now I need to remember when and where. It was probably on IIRC or in Gothenburg ... that Alchemic Dream was more involved in what was PE than Mindark themselves. I don't know why I remember they did the environment (the map) and probably far more because MA wasn't able to use GameBryo correctly. This is so old ... Alchemic Dream are far more than simple translators :)

Alchemic dream was/is indeed a reallife company "for managing MMOS" and
is/was a society inside of Entropia that tried to do some "business" with MindArk. I know some ex-members.

Many tried and failed with this.
Alchemic Dream was "just players" trying to jump on our Titanic. ;p

Alchemic Dreams CEO still is Aurelien Merville :

    https://plus.google.com/107973689884414806259/posts

    https://www.facebook.com/aurelien.merville.98

He never replied to questions on Google+ though.
Hes "inactive" on facebook since 1.5 years.

I tried to contact him, because I also found out that they wanted to start "some business"
with MindArk back then. But that was many, many years ago.

SEE it as "FreeMyVunk" or the "Educational Planets". It never happened.
If there ever had been contracts signed to "do some work for MA" is unknown.

But afaik Alchemic Dream did NOT develop or do anything for "Project Entropia".
The only thing that would come into mind would be their "audio production".
Which could explain why "PE" started with so many "standard" sounds that are widley known in the movie and music industry.

But reading your "MA didnt understand Gamebryo" just sounds like todays "MA didnt understand Cryengine" x'D
That would be indeed somethign to dig further into...

Alas Google already removed results regarding "Aurelien Merville & Project Entropia".
I remember I found an old site via waybackmachine, many, many years ago, where their "idea" got presented...more or less.
But I didnt feel digging any deeper as I never got a reply by him anyway.

I could ask some ex soc members, if they still log in that is...you have my attention. ^^

I have some news. Some times ago I submitted some questions directly to Gamebryo about PE and here is one of the answer:

    Hello ,

    Thank you for asking.

Project Engropia was developed by Gamebryo, but the avatar creation was done by other middleware engine, especially for facial.
Gamebryo is same as Unity. But Gamebryo supports PC, Xbox, PS and Wii, not Mobile yet.

    Again, thank you for asking.

    Kind Regards,

    Thanks for sharing man !
If thats true....it would mean that even in the year 1999 MindArk was already outsourcing Project Entropia development.
This time, to the NetImmerse (GameBryo) guys.

    Im a bit speechless :'D

Because MindArk was enlisted as developer, as partner on the their site, actually USING NetImmerse (GameBryo) for Project Entropia.
I nowhere, never ever heard that Gamebryo itself was working for MindArk.

This is either a translation mistake or...it would mean "hell on earth" :O

knowing mindark it's probably no mistake but no error either and in any case they're sorry for the inconvenience caused... :alcohol:

Oh ! It is not translation mistake, copy past from my mailbox. I found it today in my spams, thought they never answered me. I just asked if they can find the "other middleware" ;)

Either it is a large typo or it is factual. I think it is true.

I knew it, as I said. I know it since around 2006 that MA themselves didn't crafted PE as we know it. I can't remember where I got the info. Maybe on MA IRC ... dunno. Just remember Franck, skam, Jack the reaper ... or ingame ... old stuff, another age. It is nebulous. But back in the day I didn't tagged it as an "important" information, because I was completely immersed into the game.
