    Hello people!

I haven't posted anything for loong loong time... But I could really use some help on this one... I just got my v10 installed. I press th launch button, game takes me to account window and I'm thinking to myself "Hot dang! What a great looking account window! The MA sure took it another level." First problem pops up when I enter the Character Creation window... Good 'ol Shamys is all clay. No texture, no colour... just clay. :(

I would like to do changes on avatar, since it's legs are more like ones on elephant, but it's nose is more like one on rabbit. ;)

I guess that my problems are in memory section, or at least that is what the game tells me in the launch screen... Is there way to free some core memory? Or do I need to do some changes in RL?

Hi Shamy, Check the MA web site to see if your computer meets the minimum standards to run VU10. The game is very demanding on cpu's and memory.

    Hi Shamy,

If you have an Nvidia card, you might be able to tweak some things in the Nvidia Control Panel before you launch EU. In the Nvidia Control Panel, MANAGE 3D SETTINGS, PROGRAM SETTINGS, ADD and browse to Entropia.exe
You should see a lot of graphics options for Entropia.exe, which if you set them to medium or low might let you launch Entropia and see your avatar similar to the VU9 graphics, without the extra fancy VU10 appearance but maybe in colour and enough to model your avatar successfully. Turning on Vsync here might also be useful, to prevent a possible bug where EU refresh rate is too high.

I'd recommend waiting until you get access to a computer that can display the avatar properly, so that you can remodel the avatar to your satisfaction. After that, you can probably still play on a lower powered computer, and at least know that your avatar looks good to other players. 8)

I have also noticed this "clay" look when selecting the "low" option from the launcher before. Then all avatars look like that. It really is a matter of graphics quality. As Bunny said, EU needs quite some power in your machine in order to play it properly
    :/
