Solar Series of pistols Story behind the pistols; The androids that came with the first wave made these guns out of the limited materials avaible. They discovered that Tourmaline acted like a natural solar panel and used it to charge the fireing battery. This has lead to slow attack speed but also a lower need for energy cells. The gun and bp should be availble from the TT and Tech accordingly. Crafting the SP-1 would give you insight into how the item works and at some point you could be struck by an insperation(bp loot for further up the series, or perhapse as a reward for a crafting quest, something like craft so many of these to see if you can come up with a better design, then discuss design changes with NPC and get the next bp). Also thinking of armour made out of animal parts but with some kind of repulsion device in the armour, maybe usining the protective crystals to power the device that would then be a crafted componet or an armour plate. Also have some ideas for MF focusers, basically guns that use the MF skills, was thinking they could be long range as opposed to the short and medium ranged chips. Since they have the range advantage and because we wouldn't them to replace MF chips I think they should use Mind essence as ammo instead of synthetic ME. Anyway check back for more designs(will try and do at least one item every two days) And give me your feed back. Also if we have any artists in the house I would appreciate some concept art, my artitistic abilitys are limited.
Item to replace decoy: Scarecrow: 1 completely assembled skeleton (made from various animal parts). Duration of deployment / amt of HP sustained varies based off TT value of scarecrow - determined by animal parts used in recipe. Also great for decorating, and for farming. Scarecrows can help improve the efficiency of fertilized land areas by keeping away pests. Item to replace crafted longblades/shortblades. Papoo obsidian blade. Created using obsidian + basic leather + wood + various other components based off item level. Basically like the loughlin cutter series, with some variation to damage, maybe even adding a bleed effect as part of the damage total (due to glass shards). Looks like an obsidian blade though. Hey, there's a reason why its limited. Its made of brittle stone! Cant sharpen it, buddy! :palm: Pet Gear Red Fez and Vest For the papoo tamer, an essential set of monkey garments.
Okay here is two more guns in this series and three new bp's. As you will see they are newbie guns. As part of the human improvment idea I got from Maygar this first series will improve only slightly with each new design. Also trying to balance them is a tad more difficult then I thought it would be. I think I still need to adjust the level requirments on them to be compettive with other SIB guns around their stats. SP-2(L) BP (lvl 2 bp) This bp should be aquired from a quest and not availble to loot so as to keep with the theme of "Second wave" colinists improving on the base design that the android came up with. Quest should be a crafting quest. Something like craft 10 Sp-1's and see if you can come up with design improvments. After completed talk to NPC again to receive this bp.
