Is that mission right? She wants you to get 200 wool (worth 40 peds) in exchange for a coloring tool that is worth 30 peds with MU atm. ????

Lets not look at MU here since you need 40ped TT of wool. For that 40ped of TT value wool, you get a great colorer worth 14.50 TT

if you already have colorer thats not super worth it mission but a new player needing the coloring tutorial could be worth it

You were looking at the current value of the item. Once repaired both items are worth 14.50. I did the mission in hopes that I would be given a different type or even color then the last one I got here for free..but at the end found that they are both the same.

I think the issue mentioned had more to do with trading 40 ped in wool for a tool worth 2-3 ped. what its value when repaired (15 ped?) isn't as important.

40 to 3 is less than a 10% return. sure, the tool may be pretty and all, but the same functionality is available considerably cheaper. at full terminal value, it's a little better, but not really the best learning curve for a new person.
