I'd imagine it was a reference to the original one built in London for the great exhibition that was made of glass. At the time CND/CP was the thing with the most glass in in Entropia.

 

I think McCormick is implying that he probably sold his account. If he was from 2004 he would have made the shitty joke years ago.

Miming really well done in those videos especially compared with early Top of the Pops ‘live’ performances.
