Was going over my screenshots of my LR41 and came across the description of it and I noticed something for the first time. The following line is part of the description:

"It's still not known if the Isis corporation had anything to do with the mysterious happenings aboard the Villre Star."

When doing a search I came across a few other descriptions of weapons refering to that space ship

"Scheduled for delivery several month earlier, the weapons consignment from GeoTrek was found aboard the Villre Star as it drifted in space, hundreds of thousands kilometers from Calypso."

Thers is a threat about this on EF to, but I was wondering if any of you people know anything more about this ship??

  2. You probably mean this on EF:

Been hints around what the Villre Star freighter, but unless I completely missed it, no definitive clues yet. Potentially a broken freighter floating out in space just waiting for a high bidder and a ton of hangar parts.

Isis CB5 (L): This is a BLP assault rifle manufactured by the Isis corporation. They are known for their robust and somewhat crude designs. It's still not known if the Isis corporation had anything to do with the mysterious happenings aboard the Villre Star.

GeoTrek LP120 Niloticus (L): The GeoTrek LP series of BLP assault rifles began to appear on Calypso following the mysterious discovery of an abandoned space freighter. Scheduled for delivery several month earlier, the weapons consignment from GeoTrek was found aboard the Villre Star as it drifted in space, hundreds of thousands kilometers from Calypso.

GeoTrek H21 Scrof (L): The GeoTrek H23 series of laser handguns began to appear on Calypso following the discovery of new weapons and blueprints in an abandoned space freighter. Scheduled for delivery several months earlier, the weapons consignment from GeoTrek was found about the Villre Star as it drifted in space, hundreds of thousands of kilometers from Calypso.

OK, whilst scouring the web:lam:, I came across info about an ocean-freighter with same name "Villre Star" , from the early part of the previous century, that simply vanished at sea,Never to be found :headscratch:. The possibillity exists that the game-develloper of the Geo-trek range of weaponry, may have based part of the story-line, on exactly that. Who knows:dunno: Inherently human , the phenommenon that is. When mankind does leave this planet on-mass to explore and collonise, a few freigters may just get lost in the vastness of space. Gotto love the well thought out story-line of Project Entropia, ye, gotto appreciate it. Heck! I have, Lost In Space DVD, in my collection:yay:Loved reading the comics, Family Robinson Lost in Space, as a child also;)

  3. Damn good question: I already tried to find out more but no results... just another lose end of the storyline threads methinks.

  4. Yeah man, just ignore my take and efford. Inconciquencial right? LOL You think its bullshit I replied above? NoN-Facts perhaps?

No, what I think Wizz means is *just another storyline without loose end* - not meant on your 'efford' and I agree with him. Even if they might have 'stolen' the story line from something which really happened, which would be quite neat after my opinion, the fact that a REAL in game story line is still missing is obvious. The developers or game-directors didn't manage to make a full story line that match all the way through and the lack of a red line is frustrating and annoying.

I hope that will change with the new game-director :)

  6. Aha! OK, cheers, but you have to admit tho, the foundation is there. Now to smoke a couple of spliffs, let the immagination run wild, come back and post a detailed account what happened to that ghost-ship drifting in space.

yes I agree and have been the first to jump in excitement everytime something in game HINTED there was a story-line and some mysterious things to solve etc. But every single time the lack of constructive follow ups and tries to keep the storylines together failed the mission and I got incredibly disappointed again. Now, when seeing stuff like this it seems like little story lines taken out of the content and not fitting like a puzzle piece in the rest of the universe! Which is a shame.

  8. yes I so agree, its like a virtual Universe without a genuine linear History and nothing coherent at that. Like funey-money. Doesnt actually feel real when the history comes over as forged or like a flimsey card-board box construction. I Understand Lykke, I get you, it is indeed dissapointing for the gamer at heart.
Do you think Mindark will get their story together or straight...eventually...LOL?

i mean an Entropia Universe Novel, then sticking to the storyline.

Yes my hope is, that this guy:

FPC announce new Creative Director - News

will fix the story line eventually :) HOPEFULLY having all the new planets in mind as well ...

  10. Mmmm mabe even use some O the established ubah gamer names as characters in the Novel, LOL can u immagine the size of the book? I mean screw Star wars and all that, its gonna have to be massive.

  11. There are other nuggets of an unknown history like this one scattered all over the place.

One that always comes to my mind is in the caption below the picture of Billy. Who were "The Whites of Orthos"? Why were colonists fighting them?

yep, and some names here and there written on the wall to. Man, I really hope that new guy at FPC can make something out of it all.
