It does seem more often than not these days I'm having semi longish of at least a few weeks (or months) gap between each time I log into Entropia... so seeing this just now didn't half make me laugh! (loved the bunny ears and the final line about the quest marker... that's pretty much my way out too!)

Pokemon go! I worked for Unity at that time (the engine Pokemon Go was made in). It was such a thrill seeing so many kids talk about how it helped solve their depression/made them go out and enjoy nature/make new friends. While not officially affiliated, for quite some time, marketing changed to: "Unity, the engine behind Pokemon Go " in press releases.

  5. No not with bunny ears, just in terms of how groups of pokemon trekkers or enthusiasts were behaving.

  6. Yer, pokemon go. Quite a few times I would be sitting on a bench somewhere, only to see a small group go past looking at their mobile phones and seemingly following something invisible, so had to be pokemon go.

Yeh, likewise. I love that location based games (Ingress, Pokemon, Turf wars, Harry Potter Wizards Unite etc) became "a thing". Sorta makes it all worth while really. Great stuff.

Ah @INTERNUT I see what you mean. I see the confusion. The channel I linked do a general theme of translating MMO's to the Real world and using that as a vehicle to demonstrate/have some fun with the funny little things that happen in MMOs and have a bit of a laugh at how absurd these would be if they existed in real life xD

So the guy wasn't literally in a field like Pogo'ers. More he'd ended up in a field in the MMO and didn't remember why. This is me regularly in Entropia cause I play so infrequently.

  9. Yeah I did see the parallels that the vid is making which I thought were hilarious, but it just also made me think of small groups of pokemon go (or similar game) players acting strangely.
