Entropia News: Deeptoken Announcement

Discussion in 'Entropia News' started by EP-Newsbot, Dec 11, 2018.

  1. Deeptoken Announcement

Earlier this year MindArk developed and promoted DeepToken, a token offering with the ambition of raising funds to create an intellectual property and digital asset bank, as well as improving Entropia Universe.

With time it has become evident that the ambitious project of DeepToken will not be able to be fulfilled. Therefore, the MindArk Board of Directors has decided to suspend the project and refund all the investments made to MindArk related to DeepToken.

All purchases of DeepToken made via credit/debit cards will be automatically reimbursed within 15 business days of this announcement. For those who purchased DeepToken via ETH (Etherium), please contact support@deeptoken.io to coordinate a refund to your current ETH wallet. For purchases made via bank transfer, please contact support@deeptoken.io to coordinate your refund.

    Best regards,

    Henrik Nel
    CEO
    MindArk PE AB

    Who ?!?! U dont say ?!

    Lol.

At least they don't drag it along for years and waste even more player deposits on it.

Btw, how's that business VR thingie working out?

  6. Thats a mean one, lal

  7. I love the openness towards the community for a change. It happened with compet, again it happens with deeptoken. Failures are admitted and acted upon.

The failure of the project can't really be a surprise for anyone. The big surprise to me is that MindArk actually admits it was a dumb idea.

Oh, and for people on PCF cheering on the CEO for this move, perhaps they ought to read the post again:

    CEO != Board of Directors.

A propos blockchain, this popped up on my Facebook feed:

    https://breakermag.com/trapped-at-sea-with-cryptos-nouveau-riche/

A quote that caught y attention was:

I for one am happy to see that MindArk is doing its best at least to get out of that group. (No sarcasm intended. I genuinely am happy they pulled the plug on this, even if this makes it even harder for them to fund future projects).

    Edit:

And, of course, that article inludes Brock Pierce, and someone else we might remember:

  11. And they got you again...

Especially all the epic praising on PCF, regarding this announcement...hallelujah...

I will just lean back now and prepare for their next "lovely openness towards the community".

    p.s.
Earlier this year MindArk developed and promoted DeepToken, a token offering with the ambition of raising funds to create an intellectual property and digital asset bank, as well as improving Entropia Universe.

Go and cheer as well ! :D

No matter why and how...just cheer !

Of course, a young boy (and developer of deeptoken) suddenly became the CEO of MindArk...and is now the savior of Entropia...for realizing, that (his own) crypto is bad, drowning the reallife bank and the IPX market with him...hmmmkay ?! Wow...PCF's community never fails to disappoint me...

I won't sing their praises but I'm liking the trend of admit failure, offer refund.... now... if they could just cut out the "failure" bit by avoiding any more daft ideas that no one asked for and concentrating on something that people did like the sound of (like developing space) then that would be the next step

I've just want to renew my offer to join MindArk management, maybe you'll need a new CEO soon, I'd do Creative Director too, I'm really open. I'm in EU and around EU for 10+ years already. I've studied media science and media production (2 different things at 2 different universities). I've worked as a project manager for high end IT projects, for customers like DaimlerChrysler, Deutsche Bank, Canon, CERN, ... The last project I did for one of these had 25M € budget but I can do with any budget. Let me point out that all projects I ever did were significantly over-accomplishing goals long before deadlines, feels great, want to feel it too? Get in touch! Oh, and I don't need to be Tass, I can be very very professional.

You could make that your first task. Dispose of all previous bullshit about not revealing stuff and make it mandatory for all employees to declare who they are (I don't mean names/addresses of course) and take an active involvement in the community.

  20. Well, received my Ethereum back today despite me given them the wrong email address initially.

Have to say for once MindArk surprised me with their efficiency and, to be honest, for the refund. Fair play.
