A Tourist-Tour to Entropia Universe after one and a half year absence

Day 12

I decided to swim to the land.

Fortunately we can dive unlimited. Not like Gaybrush Threepwood who can hold breath for ten minutes only.
... lots of enemies there. But no one attacked me.

At least I discovered a "new" TP.


TBH ... I don't want to discover this world again ( ... and again?).

I started a ride with my buggy but was killed by a robot soon.


Back at the station I had some video glitches.


At Cyrene they have serious problems with such issues.
Well, lesson learned. I flew back to my buggy with the Spec Lancer.


... and continued with the flying vehicle. There was an interesting structure at the map and I landed my Spec Lancer at a landing stage.


Uhhhm ... not happy with this. I had to swim to the shore and was imediately stuck.

I had to TP to escape from this trap.

Seriously ... so many bugs ... should l I pay one more cent for that? Nope!

Back at the station I commanded my vehicle back to local storage. There I got a surprise:

LOL! Me and Kristin used Cyrene as trash-dump when we left the game. Good old vehicles from Rocktropia and Cyrene - lol.

All in all I don't have much touristy interest in this planet anymore ... since all TP are gone. No apartments ... nothing that attrackts me. I should close the circle and fly back to Calypso.

 

LOL! 350$? It would cost me way more, dude. I would need a new serious armour, a new serious blade and a new serious FAP ... probably I had to pay for a healer and a pre-damager. Additional you can imagine the costs for repairs. So you better say: 350 x 30 $ to hunt Eomons ... approximately.

Although ... once upon a time, if I remember right, we had a few events with German Survival Artists (GSA). We were boxing big mobs to death without weapons and armours. Even big spiders and young Eomons. We had runners as shills and healers there. It's just a task of the sheer number of participants and - as Parlog showed with Team DACH the second time in a row at WoF - a task of organization ;-) Not sure if it would be possible to gather ~50 people nowadays. Well, we didn't get HOFs. But THAT was really big fun!

I will keep my tourist-status. Probably once I will buy some better clothes and Malachai Ash shades, if MA or PP put significant more effort into the game. But I doubt I will go for hunts again.

This Arkadi shades arn't that cool ... :-(

 

Well, at least it looks way better than this disappointing Toulan. And it's the home of my beloved Spec Lancer ...

 

OMG! Old Caly. Probably I said something wrong to him in the past ;-) I remember well some parties at Port Atlantis when there was place for and Caly had his famous radio shows. That was the time, when we were able to dance in a good way without interruption, with turns while dancing and so on. Caly and my sis Kristin were "very specially friends" at this time. Occacionally she gave away clothes like Essi Evening dresses as prizes and she and Caly fought out word-battles. She told me that she loved his voice and his taste of music.
I would grant him the Atrox crown. I always measure it by the number of globals. We are at:

Still a long way to go for him - more than 700 globals, although he catched up Conny, my old buddy. I wish him luck!

 

Regarding the tourist-tour. I'm in RL-vacation atm. I can't play EU with my tablet. But finally I deleted this silly Android App of MA - Can't remember the name.
I played "Day of Tentacle" and "Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis" instead of. Big thanks to ScummVM! Man! 320x200 pixel - ROFL! But hey! It's still fun after 20 years.

 

Again regarding Caly & Calypso: Well, Kristin invited me often to party there at PA when Caly was on air (Mostly I was looking over her shoulder when she was dancing there in the middle wearing her expensive wardrobes and provocating bitter word fights.). I wasn't that party-girl. At least me and Kristin performed some of the best dance-shows ever over there in the middle. Additional I know that Kristin occasionally grabbed some noobs there to show them Calypso and Entropia Universe. She never accepted disciples, but took them away to other planets and invited them to her amazing apartments. Those were contacts made at a beloved and interesting place, populated by elders and noobs as well. Just fun. Well, it's gone. I will visit that place later next week when I'm back at Calypso.

 

More and more I tend to prefer Calypso. Okay, it's the planet I arrived once. And most of my adventures were Calypso-adventures. What really offends me is the way MA destroyed the cozy world I discovered after arrive at Fort Troy in 2005.

 

For now I am at Planet Prerow at the Baltic Sea and have to visit a workshop tomorrow morning to change the Lambda probe of my beloved MX-5. Approximately 315 Euro. FUCK! Well, kinda one month payment for EU in the past. I shouldn't complain about it .. ;-).

 

Oh wait ... where was it again I could find the breathtaking community between 2005 and 2009? I will be at Caypso soon. Who can help me to enjoy this planet again? All this updates for Toulan and Cyrene ... wasted efforts. This Universe is boring.

I think usually I would rent a garage somewhere, deposit some money and tune up my SpecLancer a bit with a booster and some weapons. Or even with a better outfit. Matt black colour would be nice.

 

Day 13

Well, no garages to pimp my Spec Lancer at Cyrene :-(
Accidentally I found a Wave Event area. A lonely guy, "cc", was starting the event and fought against big mobs. I thought by myself ... np to help him a bit. He wasn't in need of my help tbh. My gear was a Katsuichi Honor, Viceroy armour and an IO-Pulse Unit for healing - LOL! But fight L63 mobs again was amazing! Sure, it took 60 seconds to heal my 215 health with this stupid FAP and the damage I caused with the Honor was laughable. But it was fun. Unfortunataly stage 8 of the event didn't appear. No more mobs after stage 7. It was simply over. Next bug I think (or Day 13 !). At least it's really nice to fight L63 mobs without fear. Thanks to 221k total skills. Anyone interested in?
Finally I thought I should finish my visit to Cyrene. Too many bugs, especially rendering bugs. I don't like this place. Never did. I spawned my Quad and left this world. Unfortunately I didn't take photos :-( But hey, it wasn't worth it. No need to go to Cyrene again with all it's render issues and broken events and vanished TPs ...

Short ride to Calypso without problems. At PA atm. Let's see what Calypso will offer to me next days. Any suggestions?

 

Day 14

Unfortunataly I couldn't sit down on it :-( In addition I got the running bug from Arkadia here at Calypso again. Couldn't stop moving - two times. Had to log out - two times within half an hour. Not to mention the rendering errors with the light in the Medusa apartments when you zoom in and out. It's kinda: light on - light off. Annoying.

Well, Calypso! Where to go first? No question. manuel's LA40 "Atrox Valley" NW of Akmuul. I spent years there - LOL! The tricky part of this LA is that it has a mobile service station on it: Wilunsong North. That was pretty helpful when I once tiered up my Castorian Combat Enblade-10. Because one repair was always good for 15 minutes Trox-killing only. But each time I tiered it up it was a HoF. Can't remember exactly ... but it was at ~Tier 6 in the end - a unique blade me think.

I equipped my noobish armour and killed some Trox Providers and Guardians with my Katsuichi Honor.


No way to fight a Dominant with this gear. Oh man! I remember well the day when I killed my first Atrox Dominant! I think I weared a Rascal armour with some plates and used a Katsuichi Determination. It was at the - meanwhile vanished - outpost on the way north to Fort Ithaca. I was so nervous! Then the beast attacked and got bitter fight from my side, when another Dominant spawned nearby. I think I died two times. But finally both Dominants were killed and I was very proud. Hunt Troxies became my obsession ;-)

I checked the auction at Wilunsong North. Hell, Jeans! For 135 PED. I couldn't resist and deposited 10 Euro. I flew a circle over that old beloved LA.


I checked if manu is still the owner.


Notice the bad textures. I had render issues at the beach as well. They still don't use the potential of CryEngine 2. Lame! Arn't CryTek at CryEngine 3.8 meanwhile?

 

I did. But I can't buy them. No PED :-(
I am no longer a hunter. I am a tourist. A visitor. I left this universe long ago. If I would come back, I would buy another blade ;-)

 

Sorry Spawn. What exactly are you talking about? Do you have the balls to tell ME, Ulla Jamira Braun, still The Atrox Killer Queen, Longblades skill 12923, Arch Master Swordsman, something about hunting Atrox with blades? Really? I can't believe it!



... all done by blades. (btw. last Atrox global at my list at EL is from January 2014)

But okay, thanks to LOOTIUS (and Peter & Lykke ofc.), this forum is open for everyone. Low censorship, free speech. Do you want to spam my thread in the same way like Lykke's "Hello"-thread? I'm pretty sure, some of my friends here will do me a favour and change the name of my thread into "Little Spawn's masturbation tour" if I ask politely.

Seriously: NEVER try to teach me about blades. As Lykke mentioned: Make your own threads. That's the mind and purpose of this forum. And that's the special benefit of it - contrary to some other forums. This is a report of a tourist travel through Entropia Universe, not a discussion about blades and hunting.
