RockTropia is the first planet after Calypso to make it into the Entropia Universe.

On April 6th 2010, MindArk announced its releasse with a downtime announcement:

The servers will be temporarily unavailable while we implement the Entropia Universe Release 11.0 and ROCKtropia 1.0. The servers will be taken down at:

2010-04-06 12:30 UTC Estimated downtime is one and a half hours. Content information will be published after the update.

RockTropia is owned Virtual Worlds LLC (source), of which at the time of writing, little to nothing was known. The only link to Virtual Worlds LLC is Jon Jacobs (aka NEVERDIE).
