  1. but I have had conflicting advice:

1: some of the people said start with mechancials and work on it until you get blueprint comprehension before trying ANYTHING else, then switch to the area you want to get good at

2: other people said start with exactly the category you intend to focus on and specialize from day one, not bothering with anything else including mechanicals

I've had about an equal number of people say each thing and both "sides" are from people i trust and beleive know what they are talking about...

so what do you all think? any opinions on which group is right? which way would be better to go?

i've also heard using a scanner on the robots is a good way to raise mechanics skills before even touching a crafting machine... should i just do that for a long time first? (my dodge is quite pathetic so they hit me about every time they shoot .. but I guess it would get better in time)

  2. OK..here is the answer, it all depends on how much money you are willing to invest into crafting!

First of all be aware that crafting is an exremely long path to take on

Most crafters starts out with Equippment (Basic Filters), to skill up their Engineering skill and finally get BP Comp skill unlocked, because its the cheapest way to do that

But ofcourse if you are up to a ~20k investment into skilling say weapons ofcourse you will be a real skilled weapons crafter afterwards

In short i would say go for Equ crafting if you are to skill crafting, ppl saying otherwise probably never have done any real crafting or are stinking rich ;)
