I tried Eve a few years ago when I left PE the first time. I did the starting newbie missions but just couldn't get into it. I see a lot of people love that game, what's the secret? What did I miss?

Well I've not gone away from here, but as far as logging in the game I'm afraid my avatar has breathed his last... as for an Eve section, I'm not sure it would work as there are plenty of Eve resources available already
Huge EvE fan here! Got 2 subscriptions and run 2 solo corps - one for Mining and one for Exploration. IMHO EvE is by far the best, most beautiful and most immersive MMO out there.

Sorry to hear someone leave. I know I don't enjoy this game that much but I do still find parts of it enjoyable. Also... Booooo Eve! I hate the control system in that game otherwise I -might- play it.

Are you multiboxing those two accounts? I used to have a 5box group in wow in addition to my main raiding toon. There was a guy on the boxing forum that said he was multiboxing in Eve but I didn't pay it much attention at the time because I was busy. I quit wow and my currrent re-test of PE isn't showing much promise so now I'm curious about Eve. Multiboxing makes it just that more interesting.
No, never bothered with multiboxing - seems kinda complicated for my playstyle. I just go out exploring/pew-pewing for a length of time and if I see any good mining spots I send the BMs to my mining guy for when I get tired of exploring. Sometimes I'll play both accounts at once if my miner corp needs an escort. LOL ATM I'm mad at myself for losing both a Probe and a nicely fitted Hurricane to a gatecamper -- purely due to my own poor judgement...GRRR. ('twas a good fight though)
I use all 3 accounts in windowed mode on one machine, works ok but pretty useless for dual account pvp if thats your thing but as a solo pvper i'm happy
Ok, thanks for the info! I had my 5 client windows displayed across three 24" monitors, the main toon was in the center one in landscape with four others on each side of the main displaying two clients each so I could see everything going on. The key broadcasting software I used allowed me to do one keystroke on my main toon and broadcast the same action on the four others that had macros set up. Sounds like I might be able to have a similar set up, I'll have to look into it some more. I'm thinking it might be pretty fun to have a small fleet of pirates blasting away in pvp relieving miners of their ships and ore. In before, "ahh the space pirates"
