Usualy when you make profit you must pay taxes for it. But here in EU it seems no one talks about taxes. Even MindArk don't tell you that you must pay taxes on your profits from the game. This rises few questions:
1.If there are no signs that someone pay taxes on profit from EU do such profits exist?
2.How much taxes did Entropia celebrity “Jon NEVERDIE Jacobs” payd for his profit of the asteroid and to whom. (And the same question about other big sales)
3.If you deposit (invest) 20 000 USD for 5 years in EU and tomorow you withdraw 3 000 USD do you have to pay taxes for that?
..and other questions can there be...
    Can anyone answer this questions?

    1. Generally this is because noone makes money in EU.
    2. I doubt he paid any, but the only way to know would be to ask him. Also depends on the tax rules in his state of the US and whether he filed the investment in his previous tax returns.
    3. Generally you wouldn't as you would have to realise the losses from the previous years on your tax return. so in this case you may have an income of 3000USD but you have a tax loss of 17000USD to off set it. Of course this would all depend on the tax rules of each country.

    Kay Jones who?

taxes are paid on income, not withdrawels, so no. In no country that isnt out of it's mind...

  4. I believe some countries do considder EU as a casino, and therefor withdrawals are winnings.
But I don't know what countries and I have no clue If I'm right at all.

  5. Whilst the topic is not discussed often it has been discused on various forums in the past :)

If you are making a profit from your Entropia activities and withdrawing it then it is a very good idea to speak to your accountant about your circumstances.

    Kay Jones who?

dunno if it's different in other countries but in germany if I for example lose 500€ in January and win 600€ in december it's like I won 100€ and that's what is accounted for in taxes.
if 500 or less are won, then you havent won anything...
