sorry to hear that, but I would not get rid of it yet. Buy a new HD install windows on there and get a s-ata (or p-ata) to USB adapter. I find that you might be able to get stuff of there, unless you are really f*cked and the disk is really kaput
SSFGDSF! Hardrive crashed last night! Freaking crashed HARD! Heard a loud chirp the couldn't recover any partitions. Tried my Kung Fu with Linux and no luck. So now I have to reinstall windows and all the goodness that comes with it.
