Yea, I was a bit frustrated when Serica locked it. It seems that the PCF rules, at least their interpretation changes from mod to mod. The way to prevent bad behavior in game like Kill Stealing is to bring it to light. The PCF policies of no naming and shaming, no personal disputes etc is well intended and good, but their enforcement is way too strict.

 

So Serica spanked you for violating the same PCF rules you love to quote to eveyone that posts on PCF, but when they fuck up your agenda you come crying back here?....you didn't have any issues when you were fanboi'ing around PCF like some favorite son calling for bans and calling for censoring people that didn't agree with you...LOL

As far as your post above that, I skimmed it... it's a bit long

I think your point is that you don't care about the subject and that some others don't as well. That's great, the thread isn't for you then... I will tell you this, a lot of people do care about the issue.

I address issues in various ways, and coming to the forum is a last resort. I'm not the kind of person that backs down, not in real life and especially not online. I wont be bullied. If you push me, I'll push back. If you want attention from me, I'll give you more then you can handle. Why? Because that's who I am. I'm a nice guy until someone starts messing with me, at that point it becomes eye for any eye, and if it continues, I'll be an unrelenting asshole.

In the 10 years that I've been playing EU, 100% of the time when I bring things to the forum as a last resort, it turns out to be the correct choice. If some feathers get ruffled and people get pissed or annoyed along the way, well I really don't care.

In this specific case, what has happened is a lot of attention and awareness has been brought to the kill stealing issues on Longtooth and as a result it has decreased significantly. In fact not one person has attempted it since I posted whereas before I posted, it was one person per hour... That's called "mission accomplished"

When I hunt with big DPS guns, people don't bother trying because it's hard to compete with 80-100 DPS, but when I'm out there using low DPS stuff, amongst people who don't know me, well people who think they can get away with something use the opportunity to try.

The reason Saoirse became the lightning rod for the subject is because of how far he took it. He attempted to take the first one from me and failed when I switched guns. In chat I told him to stop, but he didn't, and along with being a dick in chat, he continued to shoot mobs that I had already shot, even walking by mobs next to him just to get to the ones I was on and in a couple cases he did do more DPS then me.

That along with being abusive in chat is called bullying. Plain and simple.... I am no ones bitch and I am not going to be bullied.... NO ONE should have to put up with that kind of thing anywhere. Some people turn the other cheek, some walk away, some cry and pout, but not me.

So when things continued to escalate in game, I decided to inform his entire soc of how he acts. Some of his friends, or at least the ones he manipulated came to his aid and the harassment continued with him and Alan Moe standing there right next to me purposefully waiting for me to try and shoot a mob. And then on top of that, his other soc m8 Spassy decided to run mob trains on Kitty and she had nothing to do with any of this.

His behavior was unacceptable. It doesn't have to be tolerated and it won't be tolerated.

...and don't assume that I'm bent out of shape when in fact I'm not. I type fast, can verbalized my thoughts quickly and put them to print with ease. I'm naturally a blunt and to the point person anyway.

And as far as my "image", I couldn't care less about opinions of people on a web forum because after all, I'm just a guy playing a video game. I know who my friends are and that's enough for me. Anyone who is bothered by me sticking up for myself and my friends can have a pair of middle fingers along with an ass cheek to kiss.

In case anyone wonders why this forum is so dead compared other EU related forums, it's because lunatics like him are allowed to operate freely, without adhering to forum topics, or even anything coherent.

There is a reason why active forums have a reasonable amount of moderation. His ramblings don't affect my day, however the vast majority of people would rather not deal with it, which is why they don't post.
