Well, I see your point. I share some of your thoughts, especially when it comes to politicans and political and social systems - national or european. But even if it is worst I wouldn't change it to a life in USA. What I meant was the fact that a company deleted a photo of it's own original content on it's own forum regarding exactly this theme because of nudity. This is a cultural issue, not a political. For me such things are at the same level like directing women to wear Burkas and forbid them to drive cars or still use death penalty. This is cultural completely different to us. I wouldn't like to live in a country where women are discriminated or someone can be punished by death. That's all middle age for us here in Europe. We - especially Germany - had very very bad times and unbelievable terror was spread all over the world by the damn Nazi regime and the murder regime of Josef Stalin. But I was born after all that. I couldn't interview my father who was officer of the german Wehrmacht because unfortunately he died when I was 11 years old only. But even as a small boy I got some education from my father (a priest btw). He and my mom of course gave me the ability to think and feel a bit larger than the daily experiance and the school would have done. The hundreds of books in the library of my parents and all the games we played and conversations we had lead me to another way than the political leaders - the Politbüro of the former German Democratic Republic - liked to lead me to. I lived 35 years under a dictatorship of a so called socialist party. I won't call this time as lost time. But it could have been way better. I know this today. Way back in the past I couldn't know this because we were caged in our small country, unable to leave it. (Side note: even in the GDR we had no death penalty.) It is not a task of single men. I am sure I would find hundreds or thousands of US folks I could agree with. And vice versa I know some folks here in Germany which I don't like. It is a task of cultural superstructure. I am not happy with many things here in Germany or in Europe. But for no price I would change it to a life in USA. This culture is too strange to me. My fault probably. But yes, I am happy to live here in "Old Europe"!
