Any use of low end full armor traders anymore?

One of the reasons is that pixie and goblin are the most commonly looted armour, especially pixie, even for hunters with low-to-medium skills. Low-to-medium skilled hunters will probably keep it for themselves, and so will not need to buy, and higher skilled hunters will probably TT it.

Dead right - new users tend to collect these sets rather than buy them. If you're going this way set your sights on the armours that are above the basic level, then when people want to 'trade up' then they may buy such armour sets.

 

I was sold a complete set of Goblin shortly after I first stated. The chap who sold it to me (Megavolt) identified me as someone who would buy because I was daft enough to be running around in the TT armour (I was more of a noob then than I am now, not much more but more), it showed I had the cash to buy but not the sense to choose. He educated me, let me see the difference in the armour stats and sold me the set for less than the return value of the TT armour, obviously it was not fully reparied. That Goblin set served me well for a long time.

 

I did the same thing, settler armour I think it is... I got killed so much with it on I almost gave up after the first week. Now I've been in EU for nearly 3 years

 

Getting to be that long myself. My point however was that it's a good way to sell a complete set, at least to a noob like me :).

 

There is a market, but it does take a while to sell.

It takes me around 1/2 hour to sell the full set, and a long time before to collect the pieces. So I think you're better off sweating and trading with people who are just about to TT their Pixie/Goblin pieces. Works well for me, I'm making some PEDs and getting some evade.
BTW I find pixie is far easier to sell than goblin. Just my personal experience, go for Pixie for the easier selling, and the lower max TT value- Pixie ~14, Goblin ~27 i think. Check entropedia for this. I have some pieces on me right now... need to get two more and then got myself another set to try and sell. The profit from this kind of trading is minimal however, usually 1-2peds. Sometimes more. So sweat sweat sweat, and after, sweat some more.
