Deeptoken is dead, all hail Deeptoken!

So MA's DeepToken apparently is doing just as well as a fly wearing plate armour dropped into the ocean.

I am clueless about the wholetoken mumbo jumbo, but if my math skills serve me right, the token currently is worth 10% of what it was worth around May 1st. (Could someone in the know explain why on earth there'd be 366k (~3% of the total amount of tokens available) of this traded in the last 24 hours?)

Worry not, for Deeptoken is being reborn! Yes, you read that right! Like a phoenix from the ashes, arises DEEPTOKEN! BRAINCHILD OF DEEPBRAIN! (and apparently the reason MA failed to obtain the .com address).

HANG ON THERE VF, I HEAR YOU SAY! What is this Deeptoken you speak of?

    Worry not, fam. I gotchu!

DeepToken: Check. Asset exchange: Check. MindArk: Absent!

The rest sounds quite a lot like what MindArk came up with, albeit DeepBrain is going to focus on AI (Artificial intelligence) primarily/exclusively, whereas MindArk was going to "invest" the Unity Asset Store, but with Blockchain, because there's nothing like making something simple more sexy by applying a generous portion of buzzwords, and adding entire levels of unnecessary complexity to it.

Here's some information about who Deepbrain is:

    https://www.deepbrainchain.org/aboutus.html

Check that phat timeline at the bottom, showing their token sale whitepaper being released in Q3 2017.

Wait a moment. When was it that MindArk announced their Deeptoken? Oh yeah, that was on November 30, 2017. Knowing MindArk haven't had an original idea in years, and as a and are not beyond plagiarising ideas (HiI Kim!) (or artwork), one cannot help but wonder if some Swedish CEO with a keen interest in blockchain stumbled across a certain proposition, and figured they'd come up with something very very very similar,, but this time for game assets (in a desperate attempt to somehow tie it to MindArk's core business). They could use this to launch an ICO and make millions, just like their partner had done.

(Unlike MindArk's whitepaper, Deepbrain have actually listed the architectural design of their platform (meaning they at least thought things through, and likely already have an existing working code-base, rather than designing things on the back of a napkin), and apparently already managed to secure funding from an angel investor.)

So, in short, Deeptoken is far from over. It has NOT gone the way of Comdead just yet, and in fact might make quite a bit of ripples very soon. It's just not the Deeptoken you've all come to "love" :D

  2. Er, the first chart isn't of MindArk's DeepToken either. (click 'go to website')

The scene is so crowded that the only way to invent a name for your new crypto is to bang your head on the keyboard for something random.

Edit: I think I figured it out... that website (neironix) confused DTA (Data) and DTA (DeepToken).

  3. From my understand MA did own the com for a while then switched to the IO and put the com up for sale which was bought months later. But yes, anyway, deeptoken is very much dead from the day the new CEO thought it up leaving school just 2 years ago.

  5. I wonder how angry the top-secret 12 million dollar investor(s) are right now...(trololol, as if they ever existed)

I still wonder why MindArk never got the attention of the swedish government...oh wait, they got awarded "1 791 398 kronor" (172k Euros), for their tradition of excellence aka. Business VR app...that app, we never heard of again.

Man, this shit is confusing. So where could one see the actual rate of DTA? At least with NEVERDIE tokens, it's possible to see those are dead in the water.

And for those who are interested in the mysterious investor, this is the the token holder of 70% of DTA (:D)

    https://etherscan.io/token/0x3dc865...?a=0x1ff430d57583f5c3dee74f34f7b545c334eec54e

There's another one holding 9.5% of all DTA:

    https://etherscan.io/token/0x3dc865...?a=0x6946777f05cc5ba54ca03945a2b4bdfcce1afe72

The latter shows a lot of activity. The former just 1 transaction.

Would you happen to have any evidence to back any of that up by any chance? So far, the best of my searches shows it's under the same ownership as when it was originally registered.

Deeptoken.io was registered at a different date, using a different provider than the .com. IF one were to star a new venture, typically one would grab all available interesting names at the same date, with the same registrar.

  9. No, I did a fast check but didn't find anything. All I do remember was the counter when I first heard of Deeptokens was on the com site and when for some reason they switched to the IO site a lot came on joking (McM? forgot sorry) about how the project failed before it even started. But again I have nothing to back this one up and I have a very vague memory of it so yes could just be all in my little brain I don't have.. Then again, I could be thinking of a .Net site..not sure..lol

edit: my bad, I thought it was com but I guess it was net.

OT but you can officially add compet to the content of oblivion now

  11. I'm not aware of DeepToken (DTA) being actually traded on any exchange. Wasn't the rate supposed to be fixed anyway? (edit: checked - it wasn't)

Then what's the point of it, exactly? How are any of the investors going to make money off it if the value doesn't fluctuate?

  13. I doublechecked and I was wrong - they say "open market will determine".

No worries. I figured it'd be pointless otherwise. But that must mean there's got to be a place to track the activity/current price of DTA, right? I would imagine that running a cryptocoin comes with certain transparency, rather than MA doing their usual shady shit (like mysterious investors).

  15. Historical necro bump :

I thought it would be still interesting, that the DeepToken from Mindark got announced exactly 1 day before the Start Date of the DeepToken from Singapore...

...Singapore, you know, GameTester aka. Planet Arkadia and GTCoin, the Coin that was supposed to get launched exactly 1 week later, on March 23, 2018.

You can read the whole GTCoin story here :

  16. Oh and the original Whitepaper for Mindarks Deeptoken, listed Arkadia 1st, as a planet partner and had a nice Arkadia Screenshot in it as well.

And, of course, they didnt feel like to mention Calypso. x'D

While the original Mindark Planet Roster to the right, enlists Calypso as No.1 Planet Partner...nothing to SEE here.

31 MindArk employees? Where is Tatiana? Wasn't she also working for MindArk? And where's Jason Peterson? Why is MA selective about which one of their employees they list?
