    ....mmmmaybe there will be more to it this time. Maybe. It's possible that Traction ran into the same problem with SEE that MA did... and as the Queen Mary did back when SEE was doing the Trek exhibition there. People do like getting paid, after all.

    Reminds me of where I live. A college & university paid a consultancy company thousands of £'s to come up with a new name once they would be merged. They came up with the name: Name of town + University.



    These management types can make some of the silliest decisions and plenty of companies out there to take them for a ride for all the money they can get...

    The German band Kraftwerk got the comission to create a 30 seconds sound logo jingle thingie for the Expo 2000 in Hannover.

    They came up with a piece containing nothing more than a vocoder distorted voice saying "Expo 2000" in 6 different languages. And they got 400k DM for it, around 230000 USD at the time...

    I can't help feeling that MA's marketing effort seems to involve getting other people to do the work for them. From what I read of the facebook marketing it would involve us lot doing the advertising in exchange for rewards of some kind.

    It not a bad strategy as long as it not the only way to promote the game. A mix of both are the best. I hope we will see more direct promotion from MA and/or planet partners in the near future.
