I first played this game just about 4 years ago, back in the days of "Project Entropia." ; never really got into it then as there were games that appealed more to a 13 year-old demographic heh. I'm 17 now though, and I have changed.The main thing that turned me off was the performance. My old computer was a real piece of junk. Fortunately, the game has changed too, for the better! I opted for other games such as EVE, SWG, and WoW. I've been without an MMO for some time now, hope to change that though. Anyway, now for the form...

Hello my name is Matthew. I am new to this game but not to gaming. I have been a member of multiple guilds in multiple mmo style games. What are your own contributions to make this happen: lack of real life means gain of game life, i try to look at things more deeply then just buy and sell and from what ive read you can get more in depth with manufacturing and marketing in this game

Just a heads up for all your guys trying to help me. I've been doing pretty good for myself acting as a merchant. As I told Luke, I am very patient. =)

I have 37.99 ped, a full suit of pixie armor (except boots), an opalo, an S30, a vivo, enknuckles, and about 4k sweat as well as some random hunting loot.

Also, I have 9 agility now. I doubt i'll be considered a newbie after today.

I have the Scylla, Billy, Phoenix, Zychion, and a few other TPs thanks to TP runs. Also found one myself. Something like Nus Lier while exploring and hunting chirpies and gibnibs.

Personal Advantages: I like to think i'm somewhat intelligent. I learn pretty quickly and i like to learn. Playing alone is pretty boring so it always helps to join a society, guild, etc. when first starting a game

What kind of help: A guideline sort of tutorial with someone available to answer questions whenever they come up

Contributions: i try to learn as much as i can independently without having to bother others. the money-making aspect of the game is what attracted me [as well as the majority of the playing population i would suspect] and i don't like to give up prematurely so i'll be around for a while.

What do you seek for in the community/society:

I have gone through many MMORPGs just to find a social environment that was sophisticated, mature (civilized), friendly and on-going. I seek to create and to contribute to projects, and hope to eventually do so in an Entropia society. I would also like to build up my character into a successful asset to the virtual society that I am in.


What kind of help are you hoping to get by joining a society:

I heard of Entropia several months back. I was a bit intimidated by it being mostly a business-based 3D environment, but I also learned that it can be enjoyed as a social world where you can concentrate on your character's growth. I eventually figured that, once I am happy with the way that Ocia is coming along in Entropia, I will feel more confident to become more involved with the business aspect of Entropia as well.


What are your own contributions to make this happen:

I am currently at home (not working), and am searching for from-home employment. I have a lot of time to instill in Entropia if there is a society out there willing to allow me the opportunity to. I will say, however, that I am not into gambling (I heard there was a Casino here). Since I do not know all of the choices there are in building a business rapport in Entropia, I will just focus on improving my character's personal attributes for the time being. I look forward to any guidance that Adopt a Newbie is willing to offer me to become an efficient Member of this environment.
