Navigation tab, Media Library, and beta Directory

We've been experiencing a bit of clutter in the navigation tabs recently, and I have now merged a couple of tabs under a single "EntropiaPlanets" tab.

The Blogs, Events and Tracker tabs have now moved there and are gone.
The Media library has been re-enabled, and is also found under the same tab.

Finally, we're happy to give you a preview of an upcoming feature, the EntropiaPlanets Directory. It, too, can now be found under the EntropiaPlanets tab :) With it, you can create listings of your services, in any of the specified categories.

Give it a go and please, let us know your feedback :) If you feel we miss any specific category, feel free to speak up, and we'll add it if we think it was indeed an oversight.

Uhm... can we have more media categories? And what would make sense?

First that come to my mind:

"Official Videos", for trailers, previews, commercials, etc by MA/Planet Partners

"Tutorial Videos" for...

Maybe a category for each planet? Hm...

Maybe a "Fun" category?

Since there will be probably only a few official videos I think one category for all official videos would have been sufficient.

And I request another category: "In the media" or something to put video in dealing with EU.

Added a few to the "In the Media" section. I think this is really a great feature! Try it.

I think I accidently mis-clicked one of the permissions, requirring media to be moderated. I approved your videos, and changed the setting to hopefully ensure this will not be needed agian in the future.

What subcategories would make sense for participant created videos?

Beacon Missions?
PVP?
Vehicles?
Socializing?
...

You think it's better in the main menu bar?

Luckily not, I have enough 'jobs' already.

Actually you don't need to wait until hovering is recognized. If you click where the dropdown arrow appears the dropdown should open immediately.

But I tend to agree that those major features should be in the top bar. EP has just too much 'cool stuff' to put it all in that bar. ;)

Odd. I tried this with both IE and FF, and do not see this behaviour. As Tass stated, the reason for the merging is there were just too many tabs all-around, some of which caused issues for people with longer usernames.

Still keen on giving this a little bit more structure, any ideas?

And maybe also an Other Games category in OT?
