MSR - 2011 Announcements

This thread will be used to make any necessary announcements that refer to MSR, other than events that require their own threads.

Currently, there is something wrong with the MSR website, and I won't be able to chat with my website host until the morning (my morning), but the site will be fixed as soon as possible.

In the meantime, MSR will be temporarily unavailable, but I will make another post when it is up and running again.

MSR is back up and running 24/7 again.

MindStar Radio will be live again in the near future - I've had a borked desktop monitor and it's taking longer than expected to get everything functioning again.

Until Cyrene launches, the radio station will operate solely as a 24/7 music station, unless a decision is made to use it as a communication means prior to Cyrene launching.

MindStar Radio is once again streaming 24/7 for your listening pleasure.

In the future, MSR will be utilized for Cyrene events coverage, as well as Cyrene news broadcasting and other activities, so stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.

Not sure if anyone else is having this issue ... while the MSR website comes up just fine, the player goes through its cycle to connect to the media (radio) but doesn't, and just sits on "Ready" without connecting.

I've checked the status of the radio broadcasting software and everything is streaming just fine, without any hiccups whatsoever, so I'm not sure what the deal is.

If you can't connect with the player at the MSR website, please let me know.

I sent an email to Peter to check into it for me, but he is sleeping now, so it will be in the morning for him. I know that the radio server just changed hosts, so I'm wondering if this has anything to do with it.

It was due to the host switch, and apparently one of the main settings was not migrated across. I mailed the host and hope to get things up and running again very soon.

Peter was able to get the MSR glitches all sorted out this morning (THANK you).

MSR is now once again operational and streaming 24/7 for your listening pleasure.

Check it out if you want a change now and then from what you normally listen to. The MSR Jukebox is an eclectic mix of genre's and will be continually added to over time.
