    it is my understanding that a property owner can run his bussiness freely in-game. I dont see mindark tweaking the dynamics in such a way to prevent me making a serious turnover on CP.

    For the most part I was refering to the past. and with a slight hope that MA may review their client relations modus operandi.

    Istead of sayin FU MA! I sort of refered to what if...a discruntled player makes a semtex and ballbearing bomb with a cellphone detonator and teach em at MA offices a leasson.

    Meant to be funeh in a tough guy kinda way and certainly no indication that i want to actually do such a thing LOL.

    Lykke....sigh! Purelly as a result of Cycochicks temp ban thats all. It is things like that, that rattles my cage.

    I believe in investing the way Jon did 100%. But it does not mean that i have to agree with MA and how they treat peops sometimes. firstly, they couldve warned Cycochick first by E-mail. if she doesnt comply, ban results. It can be done better.

    Most surprizing 711 didnt use MA this time to get her game account deleted. Ok I missunderstood and thought her game account was also locked.

    in the case of EF, good riddance! You are better off without 711, Peter and Lykke rule as foerum hosts.

    you know, im feeling rather indifferent about this. it will be interesting to see what price it goes for, but other than that... meh. if they have the tax rate too high, no one will go and the place will be quite (which might actually be a bonus...) if its low then there will be little change.

    how funny would it be if that CP thing was sold for about 1000 PED or so, just to show MA that they need to do more for us :).

    Maybe there is a way for us the players to buy CP, I mean every player 0.1% or so.

    Never been to CP and I guess I will never go.

    i dont think it will go for as much as some suggest. its basically a large land area with no mining revenue. less than 1m, i reckon about 750k. alot but not a the payday for MA/FPC it might seem, pay for one senior programmer.

    I know it will be very expensive but I am hoping it goes for jack shit (wont happen but atleast I can hope).

    I truly hope MindArk will stop spreading lies about CND being valued 1,5million $ though. It was valued that by 1 person and person only, and that was our slow spacecowboy NeverDie which makes it all null and void

    I doubt it will rival the CND sale. CND came with shops and apartments. The sale of these alonemade up for the majority of what was paid for the asteroid initially, and MA later was kind enough to add a second wing of apartments (On TI, a second batch of hangars was also released half a year after purchase).

    Seeing there's no real estate on CP at this moment, and the press release does not mention anything, this time the revenue will have to come out of taxes, and taxes alone.

    There's also no mining on CP, which limits the taxing even further. Another downside of CP that I see is that colonists can easily TP down, as opposed to CND, where it is tempting to go and blow some more PEDs while waiting for a pilot (once that system comes back).

    Also, there's no data whatsoever on the potential income, other than data provided by the tracker. It means that anyone bididng is doing so absolutely blindly. And with the recent happenings where Jolana found himself locked out of operating the bank, I'd think a lot of people would think twice before dropping huge sums into the game.

    Lastly, shortly after CP will transfer ownership, people will leave, due to now being taxed. Add to that the opening of new planets with new investment and hunting opportunities, and the risk is even greater.

    All in all, I would think the value of CP realisitcally will be a lot less than that of CND.

    I would say going by old CP average pre VU10 I would estimate atleast 3-4000 ped a day in tax income at 3,9%.

    However...since CP loot can be pretty horrendous even without tax I doubt it will be close to as active as preVU 10 unless MA ups the droprate on X5's alittle bit. I've personally never looted X5 L solo on atleast 5000 kreltins killed. People will still go "Ped-Blind" and probably bid insane amounts and will probably be doing a pretty decent investment IF FPC/MindArk can stay in business the next 2years.

    PS. Jolana got locked for all the right reasons and if "she" weren't so persistant with "her" lawyer she should have stayed locked
