FTAO Dalas and Admin...er, and a few newbies: Glitch with PMs?

I prolly should post this under bugs, but as all my PMs here concern ANF, and I;m concerned to get things moving with ANF, I decided it was best to post here.

Dalas, my latest 2 PMs to you (including adoption offers for two newbies on the list) don't show up in my "sent items folder, which might account for you not replying!

Also: I have not had any contact from you since you sent me those contracts last week(which i promptly returned) I know that newbies sometimes never get back to you, but now I wonder if messages from you to me are also disappearing.

Hey Jay :)

Firstly, yes this is soime kind of glitch, which admin and I are aware of. It happens when you PM using the popup window instead of the "full page reply" which I access by going to User CP, clicking Track Messages, then clicking Send New Message. You'll notice then that you don't have a popup window but a "real" PM writing page. That's the difference and that's why the bug happens.

About not replying, well last week Freja and I sold her house. That involved a lot of cleaning up/housework, dealings with the Estate Agency, having three different viewings including the public one. This was just one of the things going on last week so I apologise if I was a little distracted and non-responsive then :D Also I have been wanting to be logged in as much as possible (and not be in the Forums that much) recently because I was going for my Medicine unlock which just happened the other day.

No worries though, I will get back to work on this stuff. As for hearing from the newbies, I've not heard a peep from any of them, which sucks, but maybe they're also busy busy busy after New Year. I hope at least some of them reply, otherwise at least this exercise is good for cleaning out the list.

Thanks for being.... Mobile about it though Jay, sometimes we all need that kick up the butt to remember that we have stuff to be getting along with here.

thanks for the prompt reply :) Aww i didn't mean to kick you in the butt. I know how it is. I was just concerned about PMs disappearing, and wondering if we might have missed something.

So to get it absolutely straight: the "disappearing" PMs do make it through to the recipient. Yes?

Not such a big deal then.

I usually do exactly what you say, btw, but just lately I've been lazy ;)

Yes they do make it, you just don't have a record of it.

Now I have to go and try to sort out my lost passport... Not good to be in another country without your only valid ID. *Sigh*...
