Basically, a 30-second 'ad' would be placed for 30 PEDs ($3) once a week and the cost would be shared between as many active members that would like to chip-in. Ok, well I've been attempting the upgrade but it turns out new host needs to upgrade their PHP :(

In the process it is possible some attachments from recently will go missing. Sorry but it was necessary to restore a backup.

So, we are back to the current site again! I will negotiate with host (luckily very helpful guys) and will get back to you soon!

I'm on the case with the upload issues, but I'm just waiting on the host at thee moment as the fix requires an OS command, for which I don't get access any more.
I could do it one at a time through the file manager but I'm lazy like that ;)

But, give it a try if you've been having problem with this, as it might work.

I'm afraid that the time has come. I have decided that I will no longer be able to Administer the EU Chronicle forums.
Under my recent oversight, the forum has become stale and uninteresting. We all hang around because we like each other and it is a nice quiet corner of the internet, but the site must grow and adapt to live and stay fresh.

Don't panic though, I will still host the site and keep the technical back-end alive.

I've taken a next step in terms of getting our upgrade done.
Basically I copied the entire of EUC into my test site, and did a straight upgrade on it to see what happens.
I can now experiment on this to see what works and what doesn't.

As this is a FULL copy, it means your accounts, posts and everything else are all intact.

The current skin comes from www.extremepixels.com, but unfortunately it hasn't been updated to V4 yet.
